Games for Days

You gotta love having some Paul Banks in your life.

ps. He is playing here in LA November 19 I believe.

But Elefant is playing here on November 21st. And as a student at a CSU who is currently still unemployeed... I can't afford both tickets. I've seen Elefant 2 times this summer already. And I have never seen Interpol before... but he's playing his side project(which is great but not to the level that is the AMAZING Interpol) so...

Elefant it is!

quick update:

My nephew David is still in the hospital. His surgery went fine, but he's been in recovery and due to medications that have had to been changed, he's still there.
***Update, Sunday September 20: He is finally home!

School: well... I'm still not sure what the hell is going on. I have had some holds removed, but only to find out there's more.

Work: I am still waiting to start working as a T.A. officially.

Friends: They still suck 'cuz I don't see them, in times of need though, they have at least let me know they still care, via text. However, my boy-best friend aka Walter turns 21 at the end of the month & I am planning to take him out to dinner along w/ the girl bff. But she hasn't mentioned anything, so I'll just make reservations & if she can't make it, Walter said we would just do something the 2 of us.

Men: *tumbleweed passes by...
But with little time for family & friends due to school(or lack of it) and work, I don't have time for much else. And consequently, my "love" life has been non-existing this whole damn year. Pathetic, I know. But part of me wants to change this, I haven't even been on as much as a date in... ya it's been a while!

Speaking of men... lately I have found myself kind of infatuated with yet another amazing artist, Brian Aubert from Silversun Pickups. Musically, he's well... amazing. And I happen to think he's a cutie.

One last note/comment: I want these boots!

But I am NOT 16!

People seem to insist on the "but you look like you're in high school" remarks. At this point, they come as no surprise, but that doesn't mean they are no longer annoying. I completely understand that I do not look my age. But if they must, why do they go with an age that is 5 yrs from my actual age? 19 I would understand, maaaaybe even 18.
But 16?! Really? Common!
I was told this on various occasions... throughout the entire weekend.
I mean, don't get me wrong, I'll soo take these comments when I'm like +30. I would more than likely love to be told that I look 25 in like 10 yrs. But now, they are still rather annoying.
