quick update:

My nephew David is still in the hospital. His surgery went fine, but he's been in recovery and due to medications that have had to been changed, he's still there.
***Update, Sunday September 20: He is finally home!

School: well... I'm still not sure what the hell is going on. I have had some holds removed, but only to find out there's more.

Work: I am still waiting to start working as a T.A. officially.

Friends: They still suck 'cuz I don't see them, in times of need though, they have at least let me know they still care, via text. However, my boy-best friend aka Walter turns 21 at the end of the month & I am planning to take him out to dinner along w/ the girl bff. But she hasn't mentioned anything, so I'll just make reservations & if she can't make it, Walter said we would just do something the 2 of us.

But with little time for family & friends due to school(or lack of it) and work, I don't have time for much else. And consequently, my "love" life has been non-existing this whole damn year. Pathetic, I know. But part of me wants to change this, I haven't even been on as much as a date in... ya it's been a while!

Speaking of men... lately I have found myself kind of infatuated with yet another amazing artist, Brian Aubert from Silversun Pickups. Musically, he's well... amazing. And I happen to think he's a cutie.

CANCER

it has struck my family yet again.
one of my uncle's was diagnosed this wkend i believe, we just found out yesterday.
it is unknown what stage its in.

also, i know that i've been m.i.a lately.
i just don't have the time or energy for anything/anyone.
which i feel i must change since summer is coming up.
shoot, i haven't even made birthday plans.
last year at this time, i already knew where i was going to celebrate & with who. this year i have nothing or nobody in mind & its rather pathetic since it will be my 21st birthday. i dont even know if our "tradition" is still on, w/ the best friends. its hard to tell when you don't talk to or see said people.
there, i needed to vent.

horrible news

My sister, Nancy, who was 13 wks pregnant lost the baby. She's an emotional wreck, and I hate seeing her cry. My mom took the news pretty hard too. Turns out the baby had stopped growing at 10 1/2 wks, which means its been dead for like 2 wks. She now has to miscarry it naturally, or with meds, or will need to have the baby surgically removed. I missed class today due to that.

I know I say I hate kids & my nephews/nieces are a pain, but it is still sad to know that the little peanut will not be born. My sister in law is also pregnant, so it won't be easy to have one baby around when we know it should have been 2 new kiddos.

My best friends, Daisy & Walter have showed their support for my family and I. I love them, because they are trully sincere friends who know how hard my sister is taking this. They are the first people I told.

HANGOVERS SUCK!!!

last night was nice.
oh I am not counting the hangover tho.
But it was nice, the party.
It was my brother's birthday, he's old now.
There was this one guy, a friend of a relative's bf who went.
Who was hilarious & drunk & according to my sister, flirting w/ me.
First thing he asks, "hi. wait, how old are you?"
when i say 20, he goes "good, wait... your still young" lmao.
big wow, he was only 25. & goes on to rant about how i'll feel in 5 yrs.
