I had some of those when I was a little girl. Saw that Urban Outfitters had them in stock, had to order them. I've been wanting flat oxfords for a long time now, so while I am still searching for my black ones, these saddle shoes will do<3 Plus, I saw the lovely Tennesse Thomas from the Like with them and I suddenly wished I still had mine. While I get that they might look childish, or w/e. I don't care, cuz I love them.

Happy Earth Day!

Who knew I would ever be so excited about Earth Day?! Well today started out BAD. I used my new flats which I thought I had broken in, but evidently not. I had to make a stop at CVS before class to get a box of bandaids.
I get to class & the teacher announces we are taking a little walk. Great, just what my hurting feet need. But it turned out good. We went to check out the Earth Day event going on. Got a free plant(which my father has already planted). Some guy that sits behind me started talking to me today. He was funny. Got free Subway & a cookie. It was also demin day so we went to check that out, and day of silence.

Then I get home & have to get ready to go out w/ Jonathan, who I hadn't seen in YEARS. I was so used to jerks, that it weirded me out when he opened doors for me & all that stuff.

He hates taking pictures, but he always lets me do it. I love this shot of him, he was actually looking at a photo he took of me.




He had this on his phone, I thought it looked cool so I made him send it to me. It was from when he was fighting the Anaheim fires of 2008.

I found myself in a photographer's album from Friday night. I love that picture because its shows the 2 sexy Inverse boys & I am just there, singing my little heart out. As I was leaving, I went to say my goodbye to Sal & he gave me a huge sweaty hug & whispered in my ear "thank you for singing along". Hence, the title of this post.

I went shopping today, along with Karina. She's my favorite shopping partner in crime. She keeps me from buying stuff I don't need, but convinces me to buy stuff I really really want. She told me I was also her fav. shopping partner, but that I am also a dangerous one. Hahaha. Watch out, I am dangerous ;) lol

I did some thrifting, got the cutest Dolce Vita flats & cowboy boots, along with a cute little dress. And then of course, since I saved a lot of money on those items, I endulged myself with a sassy little leather jacket for a good price.

Idk why my phone took it in this hue, but I kinda like it.

Quick band review, I cannot recall the names of the first 2 bands, sorry. Silent Treatment was really good. I had heard one song before but they seriously are great live. I highly recommend you catch them live. I loved the song "Some Other Way"

Inverse was too damn good. I have only seen them twice before Friday night, but that was by far the best performance I have seen from them, and I am going to go as far as saying it was one of the best live performances from a "local" band that I have seen. Which is a big statement because I have seen my share of good performances. They played all of the songs I like. Including "Unbelievable" which is my new favorite song at the moment.

The video quality may be poor, since it was taken with my cell phone and I was way up in the front(duh!) so the sound is kinda off at points. But whatev, I love this song so I had to record it.

S P R I N G B R E A K !

Starts today, and what better way to start it than with a show. I have been looking forward to this since last month, Daisy is joining Marilu and I.
Fun times ahead. I have no idea what I am going to wear... casual? cute? Ahh, idk.

Is what I did yesterday. I don't NEED new clothes, but I couldn't help it. Got yet another vest, I have this fascination with them. A cute girly simple plain small flower dress. Some shorts, summer is around the corner, showing leg will be a must. A beautiful metal cuff along with some beaded bracelets. And a snug short white cardigan. Oh and a simple white girly top. What I wanted but did not get, some boots which were $100 off, but they didn't have my size, so pissed about that one.

Apperanly, I walk like a robot?
Hahahaha, I don't like when people I know talk about me, it weirds me out. Its like, why are you even talking about me? Point is, I always walk in a rush because 9 out of 10 times, I have somewhere to be so I walk with a purpose. Besides, how the fuck am I supposed to walk? Move my hips side to side? HA! Please.

Besides, I had already made plans to go to that show with Marilu & possibly Daisy. So I get to start my spring break with this awesome gig, along w/ hopefully both my favorite girls, dressing cute, dancing & singing along to these talented guys.

Turning 21 in +70 days. But I need to be 21 for April 13th. Diego Garcia @the Hotel Cafe in Hollywood... & chances are I won't be able to go due to my age... & I am not about to go get a fake ID so close to my birthday. Im soooo sad now.



I mean, I've managed to sneek into private VIP only events in the past, AND I was younger. So it can't be impossible, right? right??? Maybe if I go ahead and just straight up ask Diego himself... that has worked in the past with other people. But they weren't the sexy lead singer of Elefant who's a well recognized known band by many. But hey, it can't hurt to try right? I'll just ask, politely.

Inverse did not make it to the next part of the contest.
Which is just a shame because the bands that made it were ok at best(ok fine, they sucked, in my eyes), nothing extraordinary, personally not for my liking. But we all know who should have made it all the way, those boys are pure talent & deserved that break. But what can you do. In the mean time, I got them at least one more fan, Marilu liked them.

We had fun once they played. During the time the other bands were up, I was texting, then Marilu was texting while I chatted up w/ Sal a bit. The great part, Inverse's performance. They are a band that you must catch live and experience the passion they put into their music. You'll have fun, and dance and dance. I know I did. Getting winked at by Sal & his guitar in my face was fun. They are all great. The singer sang to me at some point, that was cute too. It was about time I saw them again, afterall it had been 4 years.

horrible news

My sister, Nancy, who was 13 wks pregnant lost the baby. She's an emotional wreck, and I hate seeing her cry. My mom took the news pretty hard too. Turns out the baby had stopped growing at 10 1/2 wks, which means its been dead for like 2 wks. She now has to miscarry it naturally, or with meds, or will need to have the baby surgically removed. I missed class today due to that.

I know I say I hate kids & my nephews/nieces are a pain, but it is still sad to know that the little peanut will not be born. My sister in law is also pregnant, so it won't be easy to have one baby around when we know it should have been 2 new kiddos.

My best friends, Daisy & Walter have showed their support for my family and I. I love them, because they are trully sincere friends who know how hard my sister is taking this. They are the first people I told.
